Year 9 RVE Trip
45 Year 9 learners had a very early start to their Monday morning, arriving at school by 5:30 and heading to the bright lights of London with the RVE department.
As part of the Yr 9 Programme of Learning ‘Does God Exist?’ The RVE department has focused on the Big Question ‘Why the Jews?’ Learners have explored and investigated the events surrounding WWII, considering the impact on Jewish faith.
To further develop their empathy and become ethically informed citizens learners visited the Imperial War Museum, touring the Holocaust Memorial Exhibit and taking part in learning sessions.
The learners were exceptionally well behaved and showed great respect during our visit, a real credit to our school community and embodying our school vision.
