To experience an inclusive RSE curriculum which reflects and celebrates the diversity of relationships, gender and sexuality. To support us to understand our rights and equity through developmentally appropriate RSE experiences.
Our vision for RSE at CCYD
We want our learners to experience a developmentally appropriate curriculum for RSE in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. The whole CCYD community will be encouraged to celebrate their own identity, diversity and understand about rights and equality in order to support their health and wellbeing. Learners will recognise and be encouraged to speak out about discrimination and violence.
The main strands in RSE are:
● Relationships and identity
● Sexual health and wellbeing
● Empowerment, safety and respect
