Ospreys Tackle Employability Officers – Daisy Bamford Year 11

Today the Ospreys Tackle Employability officers came in to complete a learner profile on Daisy Bamford yr 11. She is a previous Tackle participant who successfully completed the course just over a year ago. Daisy was interviewed on camera and answered questions relating to Tackle and her successful interview in Aston Martin, to secure a place on an apprenticeship scheme at the factory based in the Vale of Glamorgan. 

Daisy said that she became interested to apply for an apprenticeship as a mechanic after completing a STEM course in Bridgend College and beat many, many applicants for the place at the prestigious factory. Daisy said she is “excited to start and looking forward to it!”. 

Daisy has put a lot of effort into her school work and her progression over the last two years and is now reaping the benefits. She is a great role model who deserves her success, proving that hard work pays off.
