Ospreys Tackle Ambassadors
Today Carys Large from 2022/23’s Tackle group was fortunate to visit Swansea.com stadium for a collaboration with representatives from Port Talbot and Swansea Osprey Community Tackle groups as part of the ambassador program.
Carys is representing CCYD as an ambassador for this year, the only learner representing Bridgend schools. There were also ambassadors from Port Talbot (St Josephs) and Swansea (Bishop Vaughan).
The key areas for progression were up for discussion; ideas were floated amongst the group for Wellbeing, Mental Health, Sustainability, Nutrition etc. This led to some interesting and productive communication for further consideration, with ideas to relate back and to follow through in the current and future Tackle groups.
Thank you to Tilly Davies and Mel Sartain who hosted this session with a further three sessions to take place over the year. Progress as to the feasibility of the ideas and planning will follow in the next meetings with more collaboration amongst our fellow schools in the Ospreys region.
Also a big thank you to the representatives from St Joseph and Bishop Vaughan who were open and friendly to work with. We look forward to the next session.
