Final Tackle Session Year 9 2022/23

This was the final session for the year 9 Tackle group of 2022/23. 

This group have now completed the course, encompassing most recently First Aid. As well as completion of “Tackle” skills they have been working on for the year including, communication, listening, team building also building confidence, to ‘have a go’ at the activities and new events presented throughout the course of the year. 

This has sometimes put learners outside their comfort zone involving thinking on their feet, which was well replicated in the visit to the Escape Rooms where learners worked against the clock to solve problems and be “released” from their rooms. 

The winning group today was Grace Pinches, Carys Large, Olivia Thomas and Kian Cliffton Bennett. 

We are very grateful to Ospreys Tackle Community Officers and the activities provided for this cohort and look forward to the new group starting in September next year.
