DARE 2 EXPLORE
The last session of Dare 2 Explore took place the week prior to half term. We are hugely grateful to Nature Quest for their support and commitment to help our learners learn more about their environment and their surroundings. The learners have visited Bryngarw Park, Gorwellion and Sandy Bay, Porthcawl, as well as Kenfig Pool over a number of weeks and learned a lot about how nature and the environment works and how to look after it. Learners also get to benefit by bringing their knowledge and creations back to school/home. The picture below is of bat boxes built in the last session that we are able to use in our school. These will be used with the bird boxes and bug hotels that previous pupils in the group have built.
