CCYD Bottle Top Competition
A big thank you to all staff and learners who took part in the plastic bottle tops competition. We have had thousands collected. I have attached some photos.
All year groups from years 7-11 took part with year 7 getting the most collections. Tutor groups in Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 also worked really hard with their collections 
The Eco committee and D&T department are currently in the process of making products. We are melting them down and creating shapes for Christmas Baubles, Necklaces and Earrings etc. These will be available to purchase at a small cost either this Christmas or next Christmas.
The competition results are:
1st Place = 2522 bottle tops (7I – Mrs Whitney-Embleton Form) 15 POINTS (per learner)
2nd Place = 2167 bottle tops (7G Mrs Western Form) 6 POINTS (per learner)
3rd Place = 1273 bottle tops (7W Mrs McGuiness- West) 3 POINTS (per learner)
