TESCO – CCYD Breakfast Club
CCYD was fortunate today to be allowed to promote the collection of blue coins towards funds for CCYD School Breakfast Club. This was in combination with Siarter Iaith Cymraeg, using the Welsh language in the community.
The learners were able to interact with customers at the tills, they explained the purpose of the visit and why it was so important to them, as well as individuals, who are supported by the scheme in school. Learners were then able to thank those who stopped to chat in Welsh.
This was a very successful day and the awareness with explanations raised lots of questions from the customers, which the pupils were able to answer with aplomb.
