POLICE / OSPREYS RUGBY FESTIVAL
A festival of touch rugby fun took place today on the MUGA of CCYD. ” Not the One” tournament was organised via the Police and Ospreys community officers, and played for “The Phill Colston Memorial Trophy”.
Six teams took part from the primary schools from Ogmore Vale, Pen y Fai, Tondu, Caerau and Oldcastle. Refereed by CCYD year10 Rugby Leaders and supported by the Tackle group in year 9.
The good weather allowed some excellent running rugby and the standards were very high. Congratulations to all that took part, the outstanding community spirit was evident and a huge thanks to the organisers for their work and support in CCYD.
