Learners Of The Week
Each week a CCYD learner is identified as “Learner of the Week” for collecting the most points across a range of attributes. Some of these attributes include attendance, attitude to learning, positive behaviour points, completing homework, use of Welsh, acts of kindness and exceeding expectations. The learners are rewarded for their hard work and commitment with a visit from the Headteacher, presentation CCYD Pen, a bag of sweets and a personalised postcard sent to the Parents / Carers both praising and congratulating their child.
