FIRE SERVICE / TACKLE PROJECT
CCYD Tackle group attended Bridgend Station today to complete the Reflect Course as part of the Tackle Course. The learners were given basic fire service safety training before going onto training drills. This came in two parts of team work and rat run rescue. Learners gained an insight into the running of the station and dangers of casual fires.
We were really pleased to see the participation of all learners who gave their full attention to the tasks. A big thank you to Bridgend Fire Station staff and Tackle staff for their support and encouragement and for the opportunity to attend the Station in Bridgend.
