CCYD / OSPREYS TACKLE PROJECT
The Ospreys Tackle group had the opportunity to visit the Sony production plant in Pencoed today. The purpose was to find out more about the manufacturing processes that take place there, also to learn about further training and education opportunities that are on offer within the company.
This is a unique experience that shows learners how they can apply the skills they are learning about in school to everyday working life. There were lots of questions and interest from the learners in what was on show, with a Q&A session with apprentices who are on their training schemes currently.
