BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF WALES – SUCCESS IN SPAIN
A huge congratulations to CCYD Year 11 learner Lily, who recently represented and helped her team win the Under-18 Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Wales football tournament hosted in Spain.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Lily’s team is actually an Under-15’s team, yet they showed incredible belief, determination and teamwork to triumph against opponents two years older. Along the way, they faced teams from across the world, including Spain, Germany and Canada.
A fantastic accomplishment for Lily and her teammates. We are incredibly proud of your success on the international stage!
