TACKLE Project Presentation – Jamie Lee Lockwood

We were delighted and honoured to be invited to the Tackle Presentation at the Village Hotel Swansea yesterday. This was to recognise and reward the hardworking learners who have progressed over the course of the project from the Ospreys Region.
The event was hosted by TV presenter Phil Steel with Ospreys player Harri Morgan also present to support and give some of the awards. This included NCTC Pathways Trainee of the Year, Learner of the Year, Tackle Ambassador 2020 awards and Volunteer of the Year.

We were also treated to guest speakers from Big Ideas Wales and Morganstone who were inspirational in their stories and attitude towards supporting all the pupils in the Ospreys Region and beyond, as well as other agencies such as the Royal Navy present.

CCYD were fortunate to have Jamie Lee Lockwood yr11 awarded Tackle Ambassador of the year, which she accepted in her usual pleasant and unassuming manor.

We would like to thank Dorian Evans, Nick White (our Tackle deliverers) with support from Joe Gage and Rhodri. We have been very fortunate to have such a motivated team involved.
