Seren Swansea University visit
Thursday, the Seren pupils in year 9 were invited to Swansea University with other schools from Bridgend District, to discover more about Material Engineering.
This is an emerging field covering Chemical Engineering m, Structural Engineering and Material Engineering. Three workshops were organised with experiments to test all aspects of the Engineering being performed.
This is a unique opportunity for our learners who fully embraced the concept and were quick to participate in all the activities and demonstrations. Pupils also got the chance to meet and work with their peers from the other comprehensive schools and swap ideas and concepts.
