New School Reception Area

Dear Parent / Carer

I write to inform you that over the half term break the school reception will be relocated into the main school building.  From Monday 5th November 2018 the front entrance will only allow access to the community hub and the community café.  There will be no access to the school building from the current front entrance.

Access to the new reception area will be via the school car park and through the side entrance. New signage will be erected with directions to the reception area.

All pupils, visitors, parents, carers and staff will access the school via the side entrance.  All persons arriving by car are requested to park in the school car park and follow the signs to reception.

A polite reminder to parents and carers of the following telephone numbers to the school and pastoral team office;

School reception – 01656 815920

Attendance – 01656 815920 option 1

Pastoral office – Key Stage 3 team (yr7, 8&9) 01656 815926   Key Stage 4 team (yr10&11) 01656 815927

Please also be aware that if you wish to speak to a member of staff via telephone or in person you will need to make an appointment due to teaching commitments and prior engagements.  For these reasons it is not always possible to be able to guarantee an immediate response or meeting, however we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to respond to your request or to arrange a meeting at a mutually convenient time.

School will end for the half term holiday on Friday 26th October 2018 at 2:50pm and start back on Monday 5th November 2018 at 8:30am.

Please have an enjoyable and safe half term break.

Yours sincerely

Gareth Pope

Deputy Headteacher
