National Volunteer Week.
The first week of June every year is National Volunteer Week.
Volunteering is when you choose to give up your time and effort to benefit others. It has many benefits including developing existing skills and learning new ones, meeting more people and giving you a sense of achievement. Having a positive impact on something or someone really does help to give your own wellbeing a positive boost.
More so now, due to the coronavirus pandemic, many are focusing on supporting our volunteers and saying thank you.
At CCYD we would like to say thank you to our volunteers, those of you who have done that bit more by volunteering for groups, wellbeing activities, the hub and many more other tasks.
THANK YOU
