GCSE Exam Results

Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students

Our warmest congratulations go out to all of our 191 students in Year 11 who received their results today.

There were improvements in all areas and what gives us great pleasure is the consistent progress that all of our students have made irrespective of their ability. Our vocational examinations have seen students perform exceptionally well with some subjects achieving a 100% pass rate.

There were also some other GCSE subjects who achieved pass rates at A*-C of 90% plus! We believe a number of factors have contributed to these results: this includes the hard work and resilience of our students, the support of their parents and the dedication of our staff and governing body. All staff have worked unbelievably hard as a team and their tremendous commitment has made the difference for so many of our students.

The number of A*/A grades has improved and there were some exceptional individual student performances. These include:

Matthew Brown 3A* 4A

Aaliyah Hytmiah 6A* 7A

Charlie James      1A* 8A

Lilly May Page     2 A* 7A

Nerys Thornton   1A* 8A

Georgia Wood     2 A* 6 A

Laine Woolcock 4A * 2 A

Bethan Ridgway 3A* 2A

Karys Rayner       1A* 6A

Amber Crowle     1A* 7A

Amy Williams       8A

We are very proud of all of our students and look forward to welcoming many of them back to the sixth form. Many of them have been exemplary students and fantastic role models. We would like to wish all of our Year 11 the best of luck with their future endeavours.
