Ex Head Boy gets News Article Published

Ex CCYD Head Boy Iwan James was successful last year in gaining a place at University studying journalism. In less than a year he has been rewarded with his first news article being published with the Glamorgan Gazette (walesonline.co.uk).

With his University studies on hold during these very unprecedented times, Iwan continued his talent / passion by reporting and highlighting a story of neighbours coming together for a game of bingo in Ogmore Vale.  This is a fantastic achievement by Iwan in getting his article published as he is still in his first year of University. Everyone at CCYD especially the English Department are very proud.

We would also congratulate Scott Harris who organised the Bingo event and managed to raise over £2000 for NHS patients.
