AS / A Level Exam Results

Congratulations to our A level students

CCYD students celebrated outstanding results showing a significant improvement with an overall pass rate of 99%. The number of passes at A*-C was an impressive 72%, with 84% of students who applied to University gaining entry to their first choice.

Tracey Wellington Head of School states: ‘It has been a great privilege to work with so many fabulous students and their families. We are proud of their achievements and the positive mindset that they have shown. We are confident that they will go on to excel in their chosen field. This is also testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff.’

Amongst our best achievers were Elis Evans who achieved 3 A* and is now going to Durham university to study Mathematics. Head girl Chloe Thomas achieved   A*/2As/B and is going to Oxford University to study Biology. Head boy Morgan Jones achieved 2 A*/A/B and is going to Cardiff University to complete a Joint Honours in History and Economics.

There were also some excellent results in Year 12 and again there were some exceptional individual performances.
